Lyndsey Mann

Project worker, client support–I get to work as part of a team in meeting with the young people and supporting them by going through the 5 step model to help them cope when they are affected by someone else’s drinking.  I will also assist in training other practitioners to use the model and support and guide practitioners in their ongoing use of it.  Finally, I will help to identify young people who would like to take part in participation opportunities we can provide and facilitate and support young people in this.

Past work:

I have been working and volunteering with children and young people since I was a young person myself! Within the last two years I have been worked with different young people in their own community and within the last 18 months I have been working specifically with young people who are homeless.  Most of this has involved pizza.

Interests and hobbies:

Am I allowed to say food?! There’s literally nothing I love better than having amazing food and spending time with my friends! Anything that is about travelling to a new place and having a bit of adventure is right up my street…not to mention dancing!

What makes me unique:

I am very optimistic. Sometimes annoyingly so and also can wiggle my ears.
